Hello! My name is Izzy Killeen, I’m a master’s graduate in mathematics, and I’m currently between study engagements.
My intended mathematical specialism is general relativity (and perhaps its generalisations), and my favourite areas of pure mathematics include differential geometry, analysis of PDEs, analysis broadly, combinatorial game theory, model theory, and cryptography.
Outside of mathematics, my broad areas of interest are philosophy, history, politics, and economics. Specifically, I’m interested in: epistemology and the philosophy of science; the philosophies of Hegel, Marx, and Rawls; and critiques of/alternatives to mainstream economics, including Modern Monetary Theory and Marxian economics.
I speak English natively; I have a lower-intermediate proficiency in Spanish; and an elementary level of German. More languages besides these are to come in the fullness of time.
I intend to do some extended writing on any and all of these subjects in this place.
